According to the announcement by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), Vietcap Securities (ticker: VCI) saw a significant increase in its market share for Q1, rising from 4.47% in 2023 to 5.57%, moving up 2 positions to rank 6th. The boost came from a new peak in the market share of institutional clients at 34%, maintaining its leading position in the securities industry. While Vietcap has traditionally excelled in the institutional client sector, it has identified significant potential among individual investors in recent years. As a result, Vietcap has shifted its strategy to focus more on the retail sector. Vietcap plans to enhance service quality, improve features in its trading software, and offer portfolio recommendations through the Vietcap Mobile app.
